I started dieting at 11 years old, can you believe that. It was the summer between my transition from elementary school to middle school and I wanted to make a good impression. So I started a diet. My plan was to wake up every morning and take a walk with my younger brother and sister. Then I was just going to drink and not eat anything. Well, that didn’t last very long but so began my journey with weight loss. I always start each diet with so much enthusiasm but when I start succeeding I do something to sabatoge my success. So what makes this diet so different? Well, I am a new nurse and I understand nutrition and health much better. I understand the correlation between diet and health. If you have a healthy diet you can lower your risks of so many diseases. So now I want to get healthy, not so much I want to fit into a skinny pair of jeans. So instead of following insane weightloss palns I am going to adjust my diet to include more healthy foods. It worked great yesterday, and I plan to continue it today. I am hoping to lose about 60-70 lbs. Yeah, I am a big girl
. I am hoping to be around 120-115 by the end of the year. When I have succeed, I will post a before and after pic on this blog. So that it may inspire others.
